Self-defense still applies to the crime
of drawing a deadly weapon in a threatening manner.
So if somebody is placing you in immediate fear or apprehension
for your own safety, you could then have the legal right
to utilize a weapon to defend yourself
against what you reasonably perceive
to be a threat to yourself.
Additionally, if two other people are not present,
the crime of brandishing or drawing a deadly weapon
does not apply.
If you've been charged with drawing a deadly weapon
