0:12 Doctor Castelluber: I've been a family physician for the past 15 years. I have seen
many illnesses unfortunately some of them inevitable, but others can be medicated or
avoided altogether with this simple thing that's a change in their lifestyle including
a healthy diet.
0:26 Carla Petrocelli: Carla Petrocelli I'm a personal trainer and nutrition specialist.
There's not a single article in the world that does acknowledge the relation between
a good diet and a healthier life. The fuel we put in our body will dictate how we work,
move, sleep, and think. It also dictates how resilient we are to sickness and how healthy
we are overall, so there's no question diet is important. But the question, in our over-hyped
society, is what diet is best? Carbs, no carbs, protein, no protein, akins, well fad diets
come and go. In fact I have a homework for you. Google most popular diets in 2007. See
what the fab diet was 5 years ago. Then let me know how many people you know are on that
same diet. I know two people that have been on the same diet as they were 5 years ago
and guess who these people are me and Doctor Gisele and you never guess what our diet is
called. You know why? Because our diet doesn't have a name. It's not a guy or town. It's
just a simple and sensible way to put the right nutrition in our bodies. That's what
the next 8 weeks are for, so we can teach you the simple and sensible way to eat right
and to live a healthy lifestyle. Thank you.
