The first thing you should do to increase your networking opportunities within @cal
is to fill out your profile.
You'll see your name at the top.You can edit or create your public profile.
You'll see the link to your public profile, academic information,
badges - those that you have earned and can earn.
You'll see the links that you put in for your social media profiles. Click "Edit". It expands the
section out so that you can enter your nickname, prior name,
and the urls
to link to your social media profiles.
The second section is home, Click "Edit".
Home address,
home phone, email address. You can set your privacy settings on the right -
Only Me, Friends, Community.
Third is career. That's all your employment information, including your
job title and employer's name,
your work email address.
And the final section. That's About Me. That includes things like Student Life,
your Student Housing, Student Activities,
and your Alumni Activities. It's a great way to reunite with old friends.
Below it is the graduation information. If you've earned more than one degree
from UC Berkeley you can
drag and reorder them.
You can also add additional degrees and if you have any errors with your degree
information just click that little
question mark.
That's the profile section. Have fun finding old friends and making new friends.
