Hello, my name is Catherine Holland and I run the Oxford Pain Clinic.
Does your knee hurt whenever you try to run, ride your bike, or climb the stairs? does
it hurt much of the time? If it does then I have a title for you: 'How to Relieve Knee
Pain: Increase blood flow and ease pain to regain a more flexible knee in 5 minutes a
day' it's on Kindle, in PDF, and will soon be on iBooks too.
I have realised over the years as have been working at the Oxford Pain Clinic that there
is a lot you can do for yourself, partly because although I have tried many practitioners,
I have always ended up treating myself, because I get better results. Considering this, I
thought I could teach you how treat yourself. So this is for you if, like me, you want to
get well enough to do the things you love, and you are prepared to work at your painful
injuries yourself, and confident enough to give it a go. You can also get your friend
or partner to join you. There is some explanation, not a lot, just
enough to enable you to understand why I am telling you to increase the blood flow to
the painful area and its surroundings, and how to do that.
This guide is for treating your knee, it tells you why your knee is vulnerable to injury,
what you may have been doing to cause this and how to stop doing it. It then gives you
a number of straightforward and relatively quick ways to keep your knee moving. Knee
pain is caused by lack of blood flow, so creating gentle traction, passive stretches, gravity
stretches will ease this, and begin to allow it to correct itself and repair. Other techniques
are to increase the blood flow by removing blockages to it, thus enabling oxygen to reach
the damaged areas to heal it.
The gravity stretches should be done several times a day to start with, the techniques
for removing damaged tissue will be more useful at the beginning, but you can resume them
at any time. If you keep practising these techniques you can expect a new lease of life,
you will be able to improve in flexibility, movement and strength returning and being
able to contemplate the activities that make you happy. Your body will let you know if
you forget to do them. If you decide to buy, please leave a review
so others will know what to expect. The links you need are below the video. Thank you for
watching!
