So, couscous is just a whole wheat grain. It's so easy to make. Once you learn how to
make this, you'll make it all the time because it's a no-brainer. I've got a cup of chicken
stock. Now you can use water. I've known people who have used fruit juice. I happen to like
chicken stock. I'm going to pour in a cup of chicken stock. Since I'm putting raisins
in my couscous, I'm actually going to pour the raisins into the chicken stock, and they're
golden raisins, but you can use brown raisins if you want. And, two tablespoons, and again
I'm kind of eye-balling it, one
and a half, two tablespoons of butter. Margarine, if you're not using butter. And we're going
to bring this to a boil. Ok, and my stock is boiling and I am just going to add the
couscous, turn the heat off, put my herbs in, and my nuts, give this a stir. Let's take
it off the heat. Let's get it all stirred in beautifully. Take it off the heat, put
my lid on, and walk away. Just walk away.
