Hey guys, it's Lunden, and we're back again!
CES 2014 here at the Runtastic Booth
in South Hall 2 of the Convention Center. We have doubled the booth size, doubled the
hardware and doubled the trouble and this week I'm gonna give you a tour
of everything that's cool, that I think, about CES.
Alright, so I'm here with my friend Blake, he's awesome!
I actually met him here last year, CES 2013. What's your favorite part about CES 2014?
It's just everybody remembering me and being back in here... this time I know where I'm going.
So it's a little bit better, I'm coming back with SMS Audio and seeing you guys & 50 Cent.
Really amazing, I'm excited! He's now sponsored by SMS Audio, I'm gonna try to get an autograph from 50 Cent, maybe a push-up contest, we'll see.
I don't know who'll win!?
Alright, so I'm here with the man, Henry, with Viber Body Slimmer.
Now, I've seen different variations of things like this, but why don't you
tell me about the Viber Body Slimmer a little bit? Would you like to try it out while I tell you?
Yeah, definitely. Alright. So, you wanna stay with your knees slightly bent.
Alright.
So, how's that feel? Okay? - Yeah. Fantastic. Now what's happeing is the plate is moving up and
down at 22 times every second which means, if your head's not going back and
forth at 22 times per second, it's because your body
naturally, from your obliques all the way down to your core to your feet, contracts and releases at 22 times per second.
If you wanna feel it more, spread your feet a bit wider, bend your knees a little bit deeper.
Now you feel a lot more those muscles engage. The best part about this is:
There is no impact at all - zero - which means
bad knees, bad hips, bad ankles... doesn't matter what happened - it is safe for your body!
Awesome! This can be used by itself or in addition to another regimen.
Awesome! Okay?
Can we go faster? Of course.
It maxes out at 60 times per second, I'm gonna put you up to 40...
but you probably can handly 60, couldn't you? I don't know. I bet you can, let's do it!
So it's 60 times per second, maxed out. Now, if you wanna feel it more...
put your arms straight ahead, drop your butt down just a little bit more
and that's how you maximize those quads, hamstrings, calves, etc.
Ay, caramba! So, every 10 minutes you're on here you're gonna burn
somewhere between 180 to 220 calories, depending on your specific metabolic rate.
10 minutes, 220 calories? Absolutely. But, it's not cardiovascular, so it's not the same as running.
It's not the same as riding a bike, it's not cardiovascular at all. Your muscles are working because you're contracting and releasing them at such a high rate of speed.
Phew, alright, I'm all buzzed out. Thanks, Henry, I appreciate it! Awesome!
Okay, so I'm
here at the Life Fitness booth on their treadmill.
Now, this is not just any treadmill, this is the new Life Fitness Discovery treadmill. So, let's say
you wanna go hike through Peru or run through Switzerland, then you're able to do this without
actually going there! As you can see there's a built-in screen.
So that way, while you're running on the treadmill, you're not feeling bored,
you're actually feeling like you're running through a virtual paradise. So, I'm gonna try it out a little bit.
Let's see where I wanna go!
I think I will choose New Zealand.
It's really cool because as you increase your speed
the faster you're going through the forest. I'm running through New Zealand!
All right, there you have it, my Runtastic
