When Zack first visited us I was not for solar. I thought it was more something for young
people to consider rather than people who have lived most of their lives. I was driving
and saw one of those orange trucks. So I called in and inquired because I was already a Vivint
Alarm customer. We decided to go solar due to the fact that our monthly rates on electricity
has been increasing to almost double in the last couple of years. It’s been outrageous.
The process has been flawless. So far I have received e-mails with diagrams, photographs,
with a prototype of our home showing our house with the solar panels on it which we were
concerned about. How was the final project going to look? We are kept up to date weekly
if not more often. The process has been seamless. It didn’t take much time out of my schedule
which has been nice because I’m pretty busy. They sent an e-mail of what the project would
look like, and kept in constant phone contact. They’ve kept in touch by phone and by e-mail.
It’s been amazing. We actually talk to live people. I don’t think we’ve been put on
hold for more than a few seconds. And they are pleasant, nice people. The salesman that
came to my house to talk to me about solar used fair tactics. He explained how the system
works and as far as the work they took care of everything. I didn’t have to do anything.
I didn’t have to go to town to get a permit, everything was taken care of for me. We thought
it would take 20 years just to pay off the solar panels. We didn’t realize that Vivint
would take care of all the expenses for us. The up front costs of the other companies
we had looked into were remarkable. They were too high for us to handle. And with Vivint
Solar, they supplied all of the supplies, the labor, everything free of cost. We’re
locked in for the next 20 years so we will know exactly how much our utilities will be.
Since young people like green energy having solar panels would be a big selling point
in the future. It’s a good chance to help the environment and for my kids, leave them
a better world. It’s saving me money. And it’s improving the environment that we live
in. Everybody’s been polite and all the people that install just amazed us. It’s
a win win. Saving the environment and saving money.
