...you learn the lesson and teach what you came to teach
and then you simply leave.
There was a little girl with Leukemia.
I remember that I grew very fond of her.
A bond developed between us
that went beyond the normal patient-doctor relation.
She used to go to the appointments.
Then later she was hospitalized for a long time
at St. Vincent De Paul Hospital
under the care of her hematologist.
Every time I finished my consultations, I had the need
to go to the hospital to visit her and be there.
But don't think for a minute that I visited her.
She visited me. I was supposed to be
the health practitioner, but the reality was different.
I was delighted with her infinite maturity, her imagination,
her creativity.
That mature look of a child who looks
you in the eyes and sees you with their whole heart.
And you feel that there is a being,
that there's a soul trapped in a little, sick body
and that that is way more than just physical appearances,
like her age, her body.
One day, a Friday afternoon when I had finished my appointments,
I went to see her. She told me some stories.
Understand, she would make up stories about
angels and stars and things like that.
And when I was about to leave,
she looks me straight in the eyes and tells me:
"I won't be seeing you anymore".
Since I thought she was doing better after talking to
her hematologist, I had hopes and didn't take her seriously.
So I told her: "I'll see you Monday".
And she replied, like griping at me:
"No, I won't see you anymore; so I'll say goodbye now".
So I left her with a bit of restlessness and went to
the town of Guarna, in the outskirts of the city.
It was Saturday and I was at the library studying.
And suddenly, at about 10 or 10:30 in the morning
a lightning. Mind you, the sky was totally cloudless!.
A lightning, a terrible noise like a thunder's.
and the building shook like in an earthquake.
Margarita, my wife, and my children, went out running.
We couldn't see any external cause
that would explain such a phenomena.
Immediately, the girl's image came to my mind.
I got in my car, went down to the hospital
and exactly at that time the girl was dying.
Can you imagine such a way to bid you farewell!
Such power and consciousness projection!
But that becomes linked to death.
Not only to death. It is a human potential.
It is also linked with life.
When you experience a genuine feeling of love
you can project, through your hands, an electromagnetic field
that can be measured in a lab under
strictly controlled conditions.
And it is proved to be 300,000 times stronger than the
whole biological electromagnetic field.
We normally have a few millivolts, but
when there's a feeling of unconditional love,
our hands can emit charges of 300 volts.
And obviously this little girl shows us that it's not only
through the hands, but also through the mind,
through our consciousness, we have an instrument
that allows us to interact with the quantum field.
In other words, we can give rise to phenomena of this nature
from the quantum field.
We're talking about reality based things
that leads us to bear a great responsibility.
And also a great hope, inasmuch as life is
a continuous consciousness energy flow
and the departed ones haven't really departed.
They left their bodies, but not
their consciousness or their soul.
And the soul in olden times was the communion of the saints.
We are connected.
Well, thank you so much. Now I'll let you be. [Long aplause]
