My name is Rachel. I'm 27 years old I live in Atlanta, Georgia and I signed up because
I needed insurance that I could afford.
Acting is extremely important to me. It's one of my biggest goals. I have so many logs
in the fire. I'm doing acting, I'm *** grad school, I'm doing an internship, I'm working.
I've definitely gone without insurance and it's an unsettling feeling. All I did was
go on the website just to look literally, I just went to look just to get an idea of
what I would have to pay.
I ended up with insurance that day. It was so quick, you know I just boom, boom, boom,
and I had the tax credit so it was out of this world affordable.
I pay 7 dollars a month for health insurance. It's as affordable as it's gonna get, you
know?
The Affordable Care Act, for me it means that I can do both -- pay my rent and go to the
doctor when need be. I don't have to go bankrupt to get the health care that I need.
