With PermaLip, what options are there for you if you're not happy with the results?
Well, the great thing about PermaLip is they can be exchanged. So, if you don't like the
implants for any reason, it's very, very simple to remove them just by making a tiny little
incision under local anaesthetic and taking them out. Some of our patients, the vast majority,
if they do have an issue with their implants, they would like to go slightly larger. So,
with people with small lips, initially, it's often best to stage the enhancement, so to
insert a medium size initially, and then if they want to go larger six months later, to
replace it with a larger implant, because sometimes with very thin lips, there's too
much stretch to put the large implants in initially. So, unlike some of the other, more
old-fashioned permanent treatments for the lips, which may involve injecting liquid silicone
or other materials, such as Gore-Tex, which were difficult to remove, PermaLipss are very
easy to remove and exchange. The great thing that I love about the technique, it's permanent,
but if there is an issue, it is possible to alter the appearance very simply under local
anaesthetic. For more information about PermaLips, please click on the link below. That will
take you through to our website where you'll find all this information. With Permalips,
