When you search for something, you get a set of results.
(Types 'inception movie no-signup download' as keyword)
For example, let's search for the movie inception
where we can download with no sign-up.
To find out if they actually offer the content,
we need to click the link
and try to download the file.
Ahh..alas, sign-up is required unlike what is claimed.
Frustrating isn't it? Now we have to backtrack.
A lot of sites make false claims to infect your systems
or solicit your information and payment.
s-ray has a new feature called prescience.
It helps us to get desired content
in the safest shortest path i.e., little backtracking.
We'll demonstrate this by looking for some art.
(Types 'art' as search keyword)
Now, we turn s-ray on.
We're interested in deviantArt.
This is prescience!
Without actually accessing the site,
s-ray can tell you what information the site will extract from you,
which is a lot of information
s-ray can also tell you how heavy-weight the site is.
In this case, it needs to access 77 external links,
to actually compose the main page, which is quite heavy.
Prescience can also tell you, how many people liked or disliked the site,
and what are their comments.
Now if you do not like slow loading pages, or pages that are heavy,
from the comment and webflow count,
you know that you need to avoid this site.
However, this is not enough because you really want to access some art
but not from this slow site.
so s-ray offers 'recommend!'
This looks like a typical search result list except
1. you didn't key in any keywords
and 2. the results are ranked based on prescience information,
like webflow count, dislike, like and page comments.
The first result, has the fewest webflows, 5, to be precise.
but it requires userid/password and javascript.
which may be something we would like to avoid.
Thus the second result, which requires no javascript will be the preferred choice.
s-ray prescience will give you information
about this new site that you clicked.
If you are satisfied that this site is safe, then you permit the site.
As expected, the site works without any javascript
and all the art is available.
Now you may be curious, where s-ray obtains its prescience information from.
It is obtained from users who are interested to find pages that are similar.
For instance, if we're interested to find pages similar to this,
a user can click 'recommend more'
where by clicking 'auto',
s-ray tries to find the keywords that describe this site automatically.
The user can then choose to override whatever keywords that are not accurate.
(Overrides some auto keywords with 'computer rendered')
Then he can choose whether, this is a good site
or bad site and click.
Upon doing that he'll get recommendation for
sites that are safe and similar to the site that he had just visited.
As you can see, based on the user's more accurate keywords,
he will be able to get more accurate results,
which is slightly different from the first recommendation (list).
Here you can see that he succesfully obtains a site
that have 'computer rendered' images (the typed keywords)

to foresee and avoid dangers to get your desired recommended content
with the fewest clicks.
