Berroco's spring collection of yarns has us dreaming of warmer weather here at WEBS.
Berroco's Linus is a blend of
50 percent acrylic, 20 percent linen,
18 percent nylon, and 12 percent rayon.
It's a machine washable yarn in the delicate cycle.
This worsted weight yarn knits up at five stitches per inch
on a US 8. Linus has a unique,
airy, crepe texture. The combination fibers help create a finished fabric
that is light, slightly stretchy and perfect for warmer weather.
The yarn looks great knit in Stockinette stitch, in open work
and in lace. The finished fabric also has a subtle depth of color.
Berroco Folio is a blend a 65 percent superfine alpaca
and 35 percent rayon. This yarn is hand wash only.
It's a DK weight, knittiing up a five-and-a-half stitches per inch
on the US 5, with 219 yards per ball.
The combination of fibers gives Folio a luxurious sheen
and depth of color. Its soft and almost weightless.
The alpaca creates a slight halo in the finished fabric.
It would be perfect for evening wrap or light sweater.
This yarn is perfect for lace pattern or any kind of open work.
Berroco's Modern Cotton
is a 60 percent pima cotton, 40 percent modal rayon blend.
It's machine wash on the delicate cycle. This worsted weight yarn knits up at five
stitches per inch
on the US 7. Berroco's Modern Cotton is a beautiful blend of pima cotton and rayon.
The addition of the rayon makes the finished fabric light and soft.
It's washable, making it perfect for babies and children.
It's definitely my new "go to" yarn for all my spring and summer knitting.
