Drew, we’re out here in St. Petersburg Florida, The mobile medical clinic, you’re homeless? (Yea) you just told me a little bit about it… tell me
I got a bachelor’s in Fire Science; I was working on a Civil Engineering degree. I’m a constructional welder, I have no criminal background. I lost my family to a drunk driver.
Kind of lost track of things in my life and really the amount of help that’s out here it just made the struggle.
For the last for months I’ve been living on leftover food in dumpsters, whatever you got to do man.
It can happen that quick to anybody,So you probably shouldn’t judge the next time you see somebody asking for just a little bit of help.
How long have you been homeless?
About four months.
You said… it was also job related what was it?
Job went under because of the economy and right now nobody wants to hire for pay skill, for trade labors. I’m a structural certified welder,
I got everything I need to succeed in this world except for the help maybe.
Nothing drives a man to look for help more than eating out a dumpster so best believe that people are looking for it.
How do you survive?
Day to day… day to day, you’ll never know.
Where did you sleep last night?
The sidewalk.
If you had three wishes what would they be?
People who pay more attention to… instead of racism, how about we’re all one race.
Maybe if we’ll help each other, we’ll quit killing each otherthat would be one. Second one, I wish I get my family back.
Third is sometimes I wish I understood why things happen, but there’s not always a reason
Thank you very much for talking to me.
Yea man.
