Now for the other treatments of hyperhidrosis, the more invasive-type
treatments is the surgery, and that is called the Endoscopic Thoracic
Sympathectomy or the ETS procedure, and some surgeons will cut the
Sympathetic nerve, or some of the surgeons will clamp it, and that is
the ETS-C procedure, and that is, it works extremely well, it is about
98 percent successful in treating the hand sweating, it's about 85
percent successful in treating the underarm sweating, it's a quick
procedure, it takes about half an hour, it's done on an outpatient
basis, and it is the most permanent procedure out of all the different treatments.
