Shooting a golf course takes passion and patience.
And, you got to get up and really early in the morning.
My name is Holger Obenaus and I'm a commercial photographer.
The sun never wakes, so let's go.
Today, we're on the way to Bulls Bay Golf Course in South Carolina.
The plan is to get some great shots for oversize prints for the club house.
I get to shoot the new Phase One IQ180 back and I'm really excited.
Until now I have shot my P 40+ digital back tethered
to my MacBook Pro on the golf cart.
As you can imagine, this is quite a challenge because you have to
make sure the camera is connected to the computer,
the computer is safe on the golf cart, and reviewing the images in broad daylight
was almost impossible.
When I'm out on the golf course it's just me, my camera, and the weather.
The sun, the clouds, and the wind create the rythm and I'm trying to find the groove.
Perfect picture always happens when you least expect it.
I love the new Phase One IQ180 back. It gives me all the control I need
and all the peace of mind literally at the touch of my fingertips.
The cool thing is if you know how to work an iPhone,
you know how to work the IQ180 back.
