Niroshini is known for composing the soundtracks for award-nominated theatre show The Secret Life of Suitcases (Unicorn Theatre), The Bridge for or the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Cultural Programme, and From Here to There commissioned for the Edinburgh Mela. In 2018 she was selected as one of the Starter artists at National Theatre Scotland. This series is commissioned by The Space, Creative Scotland and BBC and aims to be a go-to guide for music teachers, educators, musicians and those working with disabled and non-disabled students. It is an exciting new commission from The Space and aims to be a go-to guide for teachers, musicians and those working with young people. Everyone should have access to a music education that works for them. Using colour and shape, Figurenotes is an alternative way of learning that increases accessibility and boosts participation in music making.
