Figurenotes works brilliantly with the keyboard.
Let's put some stickers on this one.
We can start with Middle C, a red circle.
C
D
E
We place the stickers on the white keys and
we put them in line with the black keys, so
the pianist can see while they're playing.
Each note has a colour:
[Sung] Red, Brown, Grey, Blue, Black, Yellow, Green, Red.
And every octave has a shape:
Cross,
Square,
Circle,
and Triangle.
Now, match the note on the page to the sticker on the keyboard.

To play chords, find the colour of the chord box.
This one is red.
Then find a friend, not a neighbour.
Then find another friend, not a neighbour.
[Plays C, E, G]
You can start with one note, progress to two when you're ready,
and then move to your full chord.
Sharps and flats are shown in the chord box using the Figurenotes arrows,
so you know where to move your finger when playing.
[Plays D, F#, A]
And that's how you set up and play keys with Figurenotes
