Before screwing mount the pronged t-nuts!
The position of the holes need not be exactly
The sides I've already assembled.
By cutting the boards with the same setting at the table saw, these have exactly the same width.
The plates must be exactly flush.
Now the two plates are screwed together.
Also, the router plate has been cut with the same setting on the table saw.
So it fits exactly between the lateral limits.
This small piece of wood is part of the clamping device for the router unit.
I mark the margins exactly
in order to position the corresponding board accurately.
Now I can take over the holes of the prepared component.
Don't forget the screws!
This line must fit accurately.
This line must be exactly parallel to the front edge.
A small spacer block needs to be glued on.
These are the parts for the dust collection housing.
First I glues together the housing in several steps.
sanding flush,
gluing together,
sanding.
Now the case is glued onto the bottom of the router unit.
This will be the positioning unit.
The bottom piece of wood I had to sand out a little, so that the star *** has enough place.
The acrylic needs to be drilled with a sharp drill.
The screw heads must not protrude in any way.
A marking gauge is good for making a hairline scratch. Just slightly!
Now trace the scratch with a black marker.
Then wipe off the color from the surface immediately.
The color remains only in the scratch.
The thinner the hair line, the more accurate you can position.
Screw the acrylic glass carefully.
Due to the large hole in the rear board, the component can be adjusted in 2 dimensions.
With a thin film of glue ...
a millimeter graduation can be glued on.
The notch in the router plate serves as a locator.
In the case of the eccentric lever, it makes sense to stick the contour onto the prepared wooden part.
Saw out the contour,
sand it
and round the edges
Screw these little blocks on both sides
so that the router unit is absolutely free of play on the aluminum rails.
Now comes the installation the eccentric lever.
Tighten the nuts slightly.
Tighten the nut so that the lever moves smoothly.
Tighten the nuts so far until the board presses against the aluminum angle.
A last function test.
