Hi everybody, I'm Dr. David Reath, and I'm here to discuss this week's Truth-O-Meter
Tuesday question. With me is my nurse and nurse injector Jill.
She's here because we asked a question about injections.
We had a little fun with this one this week, and the question was: If you have botox, you
can no longer make facial expressions, even if you really try hard.
And Jill's here because she's had some injections, she's had some Botox, she's allowed me to
share this with you. I thought that we would do a little demonstration--of
course you have to be extra careful how you evaluate things, I mean, this is science after
all. So we'll give you a demonstration.
Now Jill, you like to play poker, right? Yes, love it.
Gotta good poker player here. Now, you're in the middle of a hand. You've
just been dealt a straight flush, now show me your expression.
Now, there's very little expression there. That's not Botox. That's Jill's poker face.
Okay, let's try another one. Jill, you're reading your mail. It's your
year to go to the aesthetic meeting, and you find that it's in Hawaii.
See--facial expression. So it really is true that you can have facial expressions after
Botox. Jill's living proof.
But let's find out who won this week. Patrisha Hatmaker.
Patrisha, you're this week's winner. Congratulations, come on in, get your $100 gift card from our
office, and for everybody else, hey thanks for playing. Have a great week.
