from the heart.
OK, I have something special coming up next week. I hope you guys like it, but enough
of that.
What are we cooking today?
We are making Hash Browns. Very easy to make of course, so let's do what we do. Let's do
what we do and make it happen.
OK guys, we have our stuff ready. The first thing we're going to handle is our potatoes,
we're going to peel them and get them into some water. I like golden russet potatoes
for hash browns.
Now we're just going to cut them in chunks, you can us a hand grater for this but I'm
using my Ninja food processor because it's easier. A couple of pulses will get it the
size that we need.
Now we're tossing our potatoes back in some water so we can rinse off most of the starch.
That's why that boy is all cloudy like that.
Next we're going to drain off the water, rinse again and then squeeze out the rest of the
water with our hands. Lightly salt and pepper the potatoes. Just like so. Our potatoes are
pretty dry at this point.
We pouring oil in our pan that's under medium heat and we're adding some butter and just
going to spread it out and let it melt.
Once it's melted we're going to add our dry potatoes to the pan. I like to flattened them
out like this walk about for 3 or 4 minutes.
152 Then I'll come back and start flipping around
some more. Let them set and repeat until I get the type of crispiness that my crew likes.
Then I'll remove to a plate, slide some ketchup on the side and call it a day.
That's all it is to it.
OK guys, I hope you enjoyed that. If you need the link to this recipe it's in the about
