Big Brother has a big premiere, the box office buzz for Jennifer Aniston's Horrible Bosses,
and the final Harry Potter film makes its world premiere. I'm Kendra and this is SideReel's
Reel TV News.
Big Brother's season 13 premiere took the win for Thursday night ratings bringing in
7.7 million viewers and a 2.7 rating for the 18-49 demo according to TV Line. It looks
like it should continue to be a good season for Big Brother as it not only won over other
shows for the night, but also beat out its summer 2010 premiere by 3 and 13% in viewership
and ratings.
Horrible Bosses premieres this weekend and all the buzz around it is about Jennifer Aniston's
new "daring and sexy" role as a *** dentist. Between this departure from her usual role
as America's sweetheart and her new scandalous relationship with Justin Theroux, the question
this weekend is if Aniston's fans are still behind her! Entertainment Weekly's box office
prediction is that Horrible Bosses will come in at $27 million, right behind Transformers:
Dark of the Moon at a predicted $46 million. So will it be the curiosity of Aniston's new
role to draw in the crowds or just continued love of the great comedy cast from Aniston
to Jason Bateman and Jason Sudeikis?
The final battle is almost here! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 had its world
premiere in London Thursday night. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint all
appeared greeted of course by hundred of excited fans who, according to Ace Showbiz, had camped
out near the square for the premiere. While of course we can imagine the movie premiere
was fantastic, the stars looked fantastic as well with Emma wearing an Oscar de la Renta
tulle sleeveless gown with an embroidered bodice and both Rupert and Daniel in tuxedos.
The final Harry Potter film hits theaters in the U.S. on July 15th.
