Hi my name is Lita Koontz and I'm the yoga teacher at Schoolhouse Yoga located in Pittsburgh
Pennsylvania and I'm here today on behalf of Expert Village to show you, to demonstrate
and to teach you some inversions. So let's start to work towards coming into shoulder
stance. First we're going to come into a half shoulder stance. You may come on to your back
onto the mat and you're going to come into bridge pose. From here you're going to lift
your feet off the floor, you're going to swing your hips above the floor and you're going
to bring your hands to your hips. Go ahead and keep your feet down and close to your
hips and start to walk your shoulders under just like we did in bridge pose. Again make
sure your chin and forehead are level with the floor and stay here for a few breaths
letting most of the weight of your hips go through your hand into your elbows into the
floor. After you've stayed here for a few breaths go ahead and release the hands along
the side of the leg and let the feet go back to the floor.
