Step 2: Go to FILE--> OPEN on GIMP and open a photo of an apple and a photo of a baby that's high quality.
Step 3: Click on the pen tool on the tool box and click points around the baby's face.
Step 4: When you completely put the points around the baby's face, press ENTER. Now the baby's face is selected only.
Step 5: Go to SELECT--> INVERT to select everything BUT the baby's face.
Step 6: Go the Layer Box, right click on the background layer and click on " Add Alpha Channel".
Step 7: Press DELETE on your keyboard, to erase the background. As you can see a the background is now transparent.

Sp 12: Select the Rectangle Select Tool. Click on hold the left mouse button and go over the baby's face to select it.
Step 13: Go to EDIT--> COPY so that we can put the baby's face on the apple.
Step 14: Go to SELECT--> PASTE AS--> NEW LAYER. The baby's face will now be on top of the apple.
Step 15: Click on the Move Tool on the Tool Box and move the baby face to the spot on the apple that satisfy you.

With the Scale Tool you can resize an image and also move it.

Lowering the Opacity of the baby's face will make it visable for you to see where the baby's face and the apple is.
So if your not satisfy where the baby's face is placed on the apple, you can simply use the Scale Tool again to resize or move it.
