Hi, in this video I'll show you the drone 3DR Y6, equiped with a pixhawk.
It is a foldable drone with ardupilot.
I'll make a full demonstration except for some part that I already shown in another video.
Which are the GPS tracker and the real time video. I'll use the real time video but I won't elaborate the details about it.
If you are interested with these, click on the link over there, you'll find a video where I show these parts in more details.
I'll perform two flights, one in loiter (stabilized by GPS) and one in full autopilot.
Here is the ground station with the remote control and the screen for the real time video (FPV),
we have here the video reception with two antennas,
the computer which runs mission pilot, the program allows to control the drone or plan automatic missions,
and here we have the antenna for the 3DR telemetry.
Now I am going to perform the first fly.
What will I film?
I'll film the plane which flies in autopilot!
So I'll take off the plane, put it in autopilot and then take off the drone and film the plane which flies autonomously.
The drone is ready to take off for a second time.
I put in mission planner a mission where the drone will turn around me four times and then will stay above me.
I'll take off the drone.
But first I have to arm it.
I push the arming button.
The drone is armed.
Ready for take off.
Here I am in loiter mode (stabilized by GPS).
The drone will compensate the drifting due to the wind.
We can see on the remote...
...the telemetry informations due to the Graupner module...
...the voltage, the temperature, the altitude. You can see the details about it in the video linked here...
We also have the telemetry informations in mission planner with the 3DR telemetry module.
With the sun you can't see it very well.
I'll swith to auto mode and the drone will execute its mission.
It is gone. It is going to its first waypoint at 75m high.
Now that it is flying autonomously, I'll take off the DJI Naza to film it.
Naza's take off.
This will end the demonstration.
I'll now fold the 3DR Y6.
Desarming...
Since it is a foldable drone, I'll show you the folding part.
It is its main feature.
Unscrew the front screws, align the propellers, put back the screws to not loose them.
And that's it. I hope this video was interesting for you.
If you want more technical details please click on the link here, I make a detailled presentation where you can see the computer's screen.
Thank's for watching and see you soon.
