The saw exercise is also a rotational exercise and you do this with your legs in a V and
one of the things I have noticed is that many people forget to engage their abs as they
are doing it but that is an important part of it so in the saw you bring your arms like
this and you are trying to sit up nice and tall so we are not back like this and we are
not leaning forward, pulling in the abs, take a nice inhale, exhale, twist, put the thumbs
down in order to protect that rotator cuff and try and saw off your baby toe for one,
two, three, inhale back to center and as you are sawing off that baby toe please don't
bounce, that is a good way to rip a muscle. So we're going to inhale, exhale, thumbs down,
twist, pull in those abs and one, two, three, inhale back to center, more advanced people
can go ahead and grab on to the foot and just pull down. The goal is to have the torso right
up against that leg so it is actually folding at the hips so take a nice inhale and exhale,
fold and hold for one, two, three, inhale center, exhale, fold and one, two, three,
inhale center.
