Hi, I'm Michelle Blagmond at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
If you've got a minute, I have some important information to share with you
about National Family Caregivers Month.
Today, nearly 66 million Americans are caring for an aged, seriously ill or
disabled friend or family member. These caring individuals and
or families enhance the health, well-being and independence of those they care
for.
If you are a caregiver or know someone who needs assistance with their health
care, medicare.gov has resources available to help. You can
find information on everything from managing Medicare expenses to addressing
specific health conditions along with strategies to help
caregivers manage stress.
Caregivers can Sign-up for the free e-newsletter which offers Medicare updates
and other resources like preventive services and screenings.
