To create space for the baby and open up through those ribs, we're going to come into a nice
side stretch. I'm going to have you extend your left leg straight out. We're going to
work into this really slowly to make sure you're comfortable. Notice she's sitting on
a blanket. It slightly lifts up those hips so it makes sure she's nice and comfortable.
We're going to pull this left leg out to the side as far as you can comfortably. You can
keep that right foot just like that. If your hips are a little bit open, you can back the
knee up a little bit, creating a little bit more space in the hips. Are you comfortable?
You good? Now, activating this left leg, pressing through the heels. Toes to nose. Nice good
flexion. Arms come to your sides. Now, lengthen through the spine. Perfect. Drop your left
arm onto the left leg. Inhale the right arm all the way up. As you exhale, side stretching
to the left. The one thing you need to think about. Release it all the way over. Think
about reaching the ribs towards the thigh. The arm is long over head, palm towards the
earth. You want to kind of keep it level with the ear if that's available for you. Looking
straight ahead, not taking to much of a side stretch here. Perfect. Reach through those
fingertips creating a nice open space through those ribs. To come out of it very slowly,
inhale up the arm, exhale. Just release it down. Perfect.
