I think there's a lot that's happening now that marketers
and businesses, more generally, can take advantage
of to make better decisions.
One example right now that I think is just beginning to be
discovered is YouTube Insights.
And what that does it tells you two things.
One is, it helps you measure virality.
And second, tells you who cares about the message that
you're presenting and where.
So let me give you an example.
Let's say that you're a music promoter or a band and you try
to decide where you want to plan your next live concert.
Or let's say that you are a film developer and you're
looking at distribution options, and you're trying to
decide where should I do my screenings.
What you can now do is you can--
once you put your content up on YouTube, you can see how
something spreads.
You can see where the first reference to that video was,
what that led to, where it grew-- not just on YouTube but
off of YouTube, as well.
And you can also see where that content's popular.
So a band might be really popular in a particular city,
in particular part of the US, but not in another region.
You didn't know that before.
Now you know that.
And you can make much smarter decisions about your marketing
dollars and your business decisions based on tools like
YouTube Insight.
