What happens if one needs care? I kind of touched on this already. If you're a couple
and you're moving to Shell Point. One of you needs nursing home care. The one of you that's
healthy stays in the original apartment. The one that needs care goes. And there's no additional
cost, other than the food. If one of you needs care, the healthy party stays in the original
apartment. The monthly fee does not change. The one that needs assisted living or nursing
care goes to the higher level of care, and there's no additional fee, other than the
food -- because, again, remember what I said earlier, if you're in assisted living or nursing
care, by state and federal law we have to start providing you with 3 meals a day. If
you live in Estero, or Sanibel, or wherever you live now, if you need nursing home care,
you've got the additional cost: $7,000 a month for nursing home care, $5,000 a month for
assisted living. So you can kind of weight those things out. Now I hope nobody ever ends
up like that, but the gamble is nobody knows who's going to need care and who's not. That's
the whole issue.
