Hi, Good afternoon. It's Rob Douglas. I'm the founder and CEO of EnterTech Systems,
and the operating partner for Suprema here in North America. I'm here at the 2013 ISC
West show and I would like to introduce you to some the new cool things we're doing in
the world of access control.
I'd like to introduce you to 4 new things that we've brought to the ISC West show. The
first one I'd like to show you is facial recognition. We fundamentally believe that the biometric
that ultimately will be consumed the most across society will in fact be facial recognition,
and the reason is is the way we identify each other is based on our faces. So let me show
you the latest in facial recognition.
So you can see how simple that was to use. This system ties right into our access control
system. I don't need to touch anything, and the system is able to identify verify who
I am. In my experience, having been in this industry for 10 years, this is the strongest
facial recognition system available anywhere in the world.
The second area I'd like to introduce you to is also very important. We really want
to make it simple for people to use biometric access. We're introducing, here at the show,
BioConnect. It's the latest technology being able to use biometric systems and integrate
them straight into every access control system available. The one that we've announced here
at the show is with Lenel and the OnGuard system. It completely simplifies using biometric
access devices with the OnGuard access control system.
Now I'd like to introduce you to the third very cool thing they're introducing at ISC
West, and happens to do with HID. We've announced now the next generation of HID iClass SE,
as well as Prox biometric devices. As you can see here, this outdoor reader is married
to an indoor reader so that we can actually use iClass, Prox, and Mifare cards for indoor
biometric devices as well as outdoor biometric devices. This is the first of its kind biometrics
in outdoor environments has historically been difficult. This is an extraordinary product
for outdoor environments, and were so pleased to be able to marry it with the latest technology
coming from HID.
The #4 really cool area that I wanted to introduce you to, in fact, is also the first of its
kind. We've announced now a biometric certification program for systems integrators and dealers.
Never has there been, since biometrics have entered into the north american market, an
actual certification program allowing partners to get fully aware of not only installation,
but the provisioning up biometric based systems, in one building or across multiple buildings.
This biometric certification is now available from EnterTech Systems. You can go to http://www.entertechsystems.com
and on the front page, learn more about becoming a certified biometric installer.
