Welcome on Explee for this second tutorial focusing on the template mode.
When you select a template, for example the business template.
When you select a template you can see a lot of different animations already set on the scene and in the timeline.
They have been positioned and timed to obtain a great result.
It is very different from the blank template because, you can't move, resize nor control
elements on the screen and in the timeline. This is a key point to understand. This allows
you to focus on what matters, the message you want to share and the design of your animations.
Of course you can still edit this template. To do so: go in the animation tab
select an animation and drag it on the screen. You can see that
when you hover an animation this one becomes blue. When it's blue, just drop it
to swap them. You can also use text animation, just type your text
for example "hello", you'll see the textbox appears. and drag and drop it somewhere Here for example.
When it will be loaded, you'll be able to preview your work again.
Text animation and image animation works exactly the same so you can even replace an image with text.
The animation timeline is frozen so you can keep a good rhythm in your video but you can
still add some audios if you want (to have more information about audios, you can watch the
audio tutorial on our "learn" page). Finally, don't forget, when you see this little
pictogram, the red T on the pencil. It means that you are in the template mode so don't try to resize or moves
element around, you won't be able. Thanks a lot for your attention and see you soon on Explee.com!
