Hi guys. This is Max Tapper again for HowCast. And what we're going to talk about today is
how to get the most out of a treadmill. Alright?
Now, obviously a treadmill is a piece of equipment in the gym that we use for cardiovascular
improvement. Alright? To make our heart work. To help us burn calories. To help us get stronger.
Now, if you're asking me the best way and the best use of it, obviously I'm going to
say is to be intense. Alright? Now, to burn the most amount of calories in the shortest
amount of time is always going to be the best way to use a piece of equipment such as this.
But, I do understand some people may be overweight, or have ailments, or some type of problems
which will keep them at a lower heart rate intensity. And that's completely fine. But
again, if your goal is to get the most out of your treadmill, we need that intensity
to be up.
Okay? So, let's say I'm going to start my treadmill now, and start off with a slight
warmup at probably three miles an hour. Here it is. Quick start.
Now, there's many, many different ways of making this a more effective exercise. Now,
using the treadmill itself is an awesome tool, but if you wanted to add some difference and
variation to your workout, you can do that. So in your cardiovascular workout when you're
on your treadmill, definitely throw some intervals in there. Okay? So, high intensity bouts,
with some low intensity bouts, back to high intensity, and low intensity. Those type of
heart rate spikes have your body challenged and have to learn how to deal with difficult
situations, which also results in a better cardiovascular system.
Alright? So listen. Your time is very important. If you're going to use any time on this machine,
on this treadmill, please make it the most efficient use of your time. So, do it the
hardest that you possibly can. Burn the most amount of calories per minute. Get out of
here. Go enjoy the world. But definitely, be safe. Okay? Take care.
