Now, there are a bunch of different synths within Garage Band. The synths have basics,
leads, pads and textures. Now, any of these you can just pick one of them and do the same
exact thing you can do on all of them. Just really, just pick one and tailor the sound.
Like, there's a whole bunch of different sounds that you can use. But, the rule is basically
applied the same exact way. You can add any type of effect with it by clicking the box.
That's how you turn on the effect. And, then you would adjust the effect by actually moving
the faders. If the fader is all the way on zero and it's on, you're not doing anything
to the track yet. Not until you actually turn the fader up and effect that how much the
signal is being pumped into that effect, is when you're actually going to hear some type
of difference in the sound. So, it's very important that you turn it on and then you
adjust it. You can change these plugin chains by clicking on the actual plugin right here
and switching it to whatever you might want. To anything from any Garage Band effects or
any audio unit effects that might be on Logic Eight or something else.
