>>Hello and welcome to the Fort Report. I'm Chris Connelly.
>>And I'm Ehleshea Woodruff.
>>Question: How many people does it take to change a light bulb?
Answer: The whole city!
Fort Worth has thousands of street and traffic lights,
so crews need your help reporting outages.
As you drive to work or school each day,
you may catch a problem before the city does.
If you notice a traffic or street light out of service, call 817-392-8100 to report it.
Your help will make your community safer and it could even prevent an accident.
>>How many lumberjacks does it take to change a light bulb?
>>I give up.
>>One, but he uses a chainsaw.
Is there anything more repulsive than
someone spray painting someone else's property?
Don't answer that!
If you haven't noticed, graffiti is a pet peeve of mayor mike's
and we at the Fort Report agree!
>>Couldn't we try to understand it in terms of pent up feelings?
I mean, we all have times when it would be fun just to break something.
[Shattering Glass]
>>That's no reason. You're going to have to pay for this yourself.
>>Graffiti is a crime that impacts homes and businesses alike. And because graffiti
is unattractive, lowers property values, and encourages other crime,
letting graffiti stand on your property is illegal.
>>That's right, Chris, but what's cool is that Fort Worth's Graffiti Abatement
Program helps property owners comply with the law
by offering no-cost graffiti removal services.
Fort Worth property owners can receive five gallons of beige paint
every three months for use on graffitied surfaces.
You can also report graffiti by calling 817-212-2700.
Check out the city's website to learn more about the Graffiti Abatement Program.
>>Lastly, we want to be sure you are well aware of the annual event that allows me
to eat copious amounts of food on a stick.
>>Mayfest?
>>No. The other one.
>>Of course, the 2011 Main Street Arts Festival.
>>Providing four days of fine art, food and fun, Fort Worth's Main Street Arts
Festival is the Number 1 Arts Festival in Texas and the 3rd largest in the country.
It's a can't miss event!
Tens of thousands of residents and visitors swarm to downtown to enjoy the
beautiful weather, the art, the food, the live concerts and more.
Find out more at MainStreetArtsFest.org
there's even an iPhone app, if you're so inclined.
>>As always, visit the City's Website for

>>[garbled with food in mouth] That's it for this edition of the Fort Report.
See you next time, Bye.
Want a bite?
>>[whispered] No.
