Dear friends where at Park Burcina, in Northern Italy
and we're here to record the first images about the absolutely new Banshee model
the Legend Mk1.
It's one of the four prototypes arrived here in Italy,
and one of the fifty distributed all over the World.
Now let's go deep into particulars.
This is the new model studied exclusively for Downhill
it has really interesting features...
18kg is the weight, thanks to hydroformed tubes
ensure a handling common only to the queens of DH.
Let's have a look at the suspension system of this bike
At the rear shox we've got a travel range from 180 to 215 millimeters
while at the front we've got a fixed 200mm travel
the adjustable travel at the rear shock allows you to
make the bike slaker, and set higher or lower BB
in order to have a more precise or stable bike
depending by the trails!
The crank set is a Husselfelt
therefore I'd like to stress the fact that with this geometries
the centre of gravity is so low
offering a great stability.
Talking about this area of the frame we've gotta say
it's entirely made thru CNC technique
increasing a lot the stiffness of the shox area.
About rear linkage we have an interesting system
which is called VF4B (Virtual Floating 4 Bars).
This way the rear linkage moves away during the first part
then get close to the frame again during the second part.
There's a axels system that allows you to lubrificate siply without dismount them;
and here we have the powerful Maxle system to block the rear wheel.
