Hey little sis, mom told me that you have some skin questions.
Yeah, I am going through a tough time trying to keep my skin clear. I can't afford to go
in and get regular treatment, so I was wondering if you have heard anything about Dermologica
products.
Yeah, we have a lot of clients that use it. We even carry some of it at the spa.
So what do you think about them?
Well, I would recommend using some of their products, but others not so much.
Why not? Aren't they all supposed to work together?
Supposed to? Yes. Do they? Not really.
They are so expensive, I need the right ones to help.
The problem with skin care lines, is that they are based on population. That means they
are going to be generic, instead of specific to your own skin.
So what my pimple face needs, their expensive cleansers might not help?
Exactly. Then there are creams that have been scientifically proven that they just sit on
your face because of a layer of dead skin cells that everyone has without exfoliating.
So mom's anti aging stuff just sits on her face?
For the most part yes.
I want to tell her that's why she still complains about looking old. And dad is lying to her!
Dad is?
Yeah, haha, she asks him every morning if he sees a difference and he always says yes
even if he isn't looking at her.
Well, she shouldn't expect much from him.
So, do you think I should just save my allowance and find a cheaper brand, or should I go ahead
and try the Dermologica?
I think that you should try them a few at a time. That way if they don't work for you,
then you didn't waste all your money on a kit.
That sounds like a smart plan.
Well, your big sister is kind of a genius.
