John soco is the Special Inspector General
for Afghanistan reconstruction so he's in charge of overseeing
where US tax dollars are going specifically he looks after the 10
point seven billion dollars in funding to cover projects from improving local
government
to building roads and schools this is all in Afghanistan the thirty million
dollars for contract to build the train and sustain
the Afghan army and other projects that require private
Afghan contractors well in
well new 236 page report
to congress this dude is sounding the alarm
and going berserk I mean but
he's on like Def Con 912 and what he's going crazy about is that he says
47 million dollars our locator for the US Agency for International Development
has been spent improperly in its been essentially wasted
but that's not even the worst part he's
most upset but here's the bombshell he said he's found
forty three separate cases where supporters
above the Taliban and al Qaeda in Afghanistan have been getting
US military contracts in other words
the US is literally sending our enemies
millions of dollars that's our worst nightmare
is an amazing and the reason is flat-out incompetence ok people
convince us hey yeah we're working with we're going to train the Afghan army
were working with them were
security detail or whatever the case is and idiots get duped
and we summon contracting guns in all the different things but these are
people who are affiliated with the Taliban
end al Qaeda I mean
how often can we get it wrong if there's any way we can get something wrong with
foreign policy we do it
were notorious for that so take for example when we founded the mujahedeen
back when they were fighting a war against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan
later but the mujahedeen split up into the Taliban and al Qaeda emma Mae for us
with your own guns that we gave the end same thing happened
a remember in Syria we were are arming the rebels
but the rebels are fighting alongside al Qaeda and book over on another Islamic
extremist groups
and don't get me wrong I'm not saying Assad is a good guy
but we funded the rebels and were afraid
those guns are gonna think get to al Qaeda chance cuz why wouldn't they
they're fighting together
but now reports are not know if they're not the guns are going to al Qaeda you
know they're getting to
pro-assad group including
hezbollah I mean I don't know how much more evidence could possibly exist
that all point to the same conclusion let's mind our business and stop by is
fighting all these wars in putting all these bases all over the place
and arming everybody and their mother every single time we know it
ends up biting us in the S I don't know how much more I would as you can
you could possibly need to come to this conclusion is the most rational
conclusion
of course the American people agree with me and agree with us on this
your people would disagree are the idiots in washington
which leads me to my next point when soco brought this up at the Army's
procurement fraud branch
they said quote the reviewers did not include enough supporting evidence to
initiate suspension and debarment
under Federal Acquisition Regulations that's just a
very long-winded way of saying if we don't care
when I'm going to anything about sorry
they continue another army spokesperson said by email
that cutting off the contracts based only on information from soco's office
armor this guy's respond this is what he does for a living is responsible for
overseeing this
but they say I'm not just going base of a what he said quote
would fail me due process requirements and will likely be deemed arbitrary have
challenged in court
first we'll go challenge in court bit people affiliated with al Qaeda the
Taliban
they're going to challenge in court *** challenge in court what are you
nuts
and second law were looking due process come from
due process means that people get their day in court but typically it's
it reserve for american citizens in american court system
we're talking about Afghanistan here one due process
have anything to do with giving money and guns to
al Qaeda affiliated group Intel been affiliated groups they're not even
vaguely related
up got this stock is me a headache
to say our government is incompetent prophetic
and corrupt thats all an understatement
I mean this is beyond ridiculous
