I'm a 3rd year student in Business Management and I've been running an enterprise
project for the Business School in four schools. It involved a full challenge day
for up to 150 students per school
and we've selected the winners to come to university today and to present their
final ideas to the judges. 0:00:26.019, 0:00:28.01 > Whether they're government reports,
business reports, academic reports, they all say the same thing: enterprising
students are employable students and therefore it's very important for us,
for our graduates, to ensure that not only do they leave with their discipline
specifics but also these range of transferable career skills.
> When we started to work with with Ben Dyer and the Enterprise Days organization
one of our time EFS (Enterprise Foundation Scheme) companies
it became very apparent we had an opportunity to work with with four schools during
each day of Global Entrepreneurship Week
and then we could bring the the winners of each of the school events
down here for a finals day.
So again it's very much aligned to our vision about
ensuring that enterprise entrepreneurship
is top of the agenda.
> We've all enjoyed creating our own online business
and it should happen more often, I think.
