Our star is the Sun.
It is only one of the billions that exist.
The sun like every other star will cease to shine again.
It will happen according to some estimates, about 5 billion years.
In 5 billion years the earth well- will be no life.
But today we live on a planet that is bathed daily solar energy.
Sun on the Earth for only 2 days emitts that amount of energy
that have all the resources of coal on the planet.
Solar energy still accounts for only about 0.03%
of the total world energy production.
So our task is to learn how to capture and exploit
this huge potential energy source.
Accordingly representation of solar energy in the total production,
we can say that we are just beginning to use this resource.
Solar panels and boards can fill up our phone,
can run ours drill
or we can use them to make a tasty barbecue.
But all these ways to use the sun for energy can be called
as pioneering.
Since solar energy comes to Earth to a greater or lesser extent,
it depends on whether it is winter or summer,
or whether it's cloudy or not.
The main problem is how to accumulate the energy of the Sun,
how allow the energy we received from the Sun, for example over the summer,
to be kept safely and secure supply to us through the winter.
The answer to that we found in Serbia.
In Badnjevac village near Kragujevac.
Professor Vladan Petrovic has worked for many years in Germany
and there achieved great business results.
What he came back to Serbia is not a favorable financial environment
or investment in the development of scientific achievements,
but love for their country and for her desire to do something revolutionary.

that has the technology to store high-quality energy for a longer period of time.
Petrovic: "This is the first time the use of solar energy

or parallel heating plant and to use Sun till it has.
We have made the technology which is used
365 days times 24 hours or 8760 hours per year.
And it means it is the first technology that has been designed so.
You can, for example this energy you assemble from the sun
to use in the winter for greenhouse,for greenhouses,for drying,chemical industry,
for what ever You want.
The other thing that is of high quality energy,it is 800 degrees.
It is high energy,high temperature energy."
The professor has designed a solar power plant that works
that works on the following principle.
Solar collector collects solar energy and emits it onto a concentrator
that reaches temperatures up to 2000 degrees.
This process may not be so amazing,
but what is revolutionary is the existence of a accumulator
where that energy is stored.
Accumulator is how professor says science for itself.
Calculations related to the thickness of the insulation,
the ratio of its diameter and height,
as well as the use of certain materials,
are essential for its proper functioning.
Professor:"Accumulator is the main desire of the entire world today.

So it means not 24 hours but 6 months for use!

Every country has a certain number of hours of sunshine during the year
so on that basis of these parameters the proper study
of the feasibility of constructing such
solar power electric plants or heating plants is made.
Serbia has a say about 2000 hours of sunshine a year.
So on that basis of this information we can get information much would it cost
to heat a city in Serbia by using this technology.
Proffesor:"Each country has so many hours of sunshine and so.
eg Jordan 3,300.
There in the north 1,700.

energy should be accumulated as much as needed.
And that is the basis for the design a project.

a good part of the 20% of the total energy.

And we maintain in accumulator 800 degrees.

You need 390 concentrators.

And the amount of energy that is accumulated is
450kilo watt hours per cubic meter of accumulator's volume.

80 kilo watt hours per cubic meter.

energy indipendant,and that's big score."
And what future might hold for Serbia?!
Imagine that we are energy indipendant.
That oil and gas prices on the world market
does not play a major role in the functioning of our economy.
That we have a monopoly in technology
that's of interest to all countries of the world.
Professor:" I see that this will be not only for Serbia,
but the solution to the world.
Look:I do not know if you know, for example
that is now in Germany has a large consortium of firms,
more than 20 companies that will make a big electrical plant in the Sahara.

I think with this..it would be important to quickly in Serbia even start that,
