there's a lot of diverse career fields that go in the Civil Engineering program.
Civil engineering encompasses architects civil engineers, mechanical engineers,
electrical engineers,
housing privatization, interior designers, community planners.
A healthy beach projects the facilities from the effects storm surge and storm
damage.
I do get to work on the cutting-edge of technology. These solar
trackers
will track the sun from sunup to sundown.
We just recently completed
the design construction of a 250 million dollar project.
Had I been working in the private industry I don't foresee myself as ever being
involved in a project that large.
I would go home and I didn't even know who to call when I get home,
trying to tell somebody "Guess what I got to work on today!?!"
I'm an architect, I was able to get registered lot faster,
I was able to do design work. I have room to grow.
65 to 75 percent of the architects downtown are unemployed.
Here I am, working and being able to do what I do best, The biggest benefits will outweigh
the private industry
is mainly job stability and
the career path that is clearly-defined.
It's just a great place to work. It's been a great career and given me
plenty of opportunities.
In the end it's it's very rewarding.
