Hi, I'm Chris Bryce from superservice.com. Let's talk about how to buy a computer. The
best way to buy a computer for the right price, is to make sure and look at offers that different
manufacturers have. If you're open to a couple of different brands, then I would look around
and try to find the best price for the best brand that you can find, the best value. If
you're looking for a specific brand such as Sony, Dell, Toshiba, then I would look for
different retailers that carry that product, but I would also check the manufacturer's
websites. One of the largest manufacturers of desktop and laptop computers on their website,
has specials that are kind of not really known about. On Wednesdays and at the end of the
month, for some reason, on this large manufacturer's website, you can actually get better deals
on those computers. So that's the best time to shop. As far as comparing the different
prices on things, sometimes manufacturer's websites will have different sections. They'll
have a home office section or a small business section or even sometimes a large corporate
section. It really behooves you to look at these small business and home sections of
the sites because sometimes the same exact computers, same models and everything, are
at a different price for home users than they are for small business users. Large corporate
accounts normally have some sort of access to purchase them these ways, but with small
business and home users, you ought to be able to navigate to any section of that website
for that particular user and get those deals on those computers. That's the best way to
buy a computer.
