Hi my name is Lori with Figs Catering in Austin, Texas on behalf of Expert Village today we
are going to show you how to make a entire Thanksgiving meal. So once I have nice even
layer on the outside of the turkey I'm going to make sure that we seasoning it inside as
well. So I'm going to get another little about a tablespoon of sage butter and with my finger
I'm just going to go underneath in between the meat and the skin and put some sage butter
underneath here as well. This could get a little bit messy but that is okay it is going
to taste really good. Another thing you can put under here can be rosemary leaves, you
can do lemons, lemon circles there is all kind of things you can put under here to flavor
your meat. As the meat cooks the butter is going to melt into the meat making it nice
and juicy. Once I have a nice even coating I'm going to go ahead and salt and pepper
my bird so I'm going to take a hand full of salt and just make sure I get a nice even
coating. Now keep in mind our sage butter did have some salt in so you want to make
sure you don't over salt it. Some nice salt and a little bit more pepper and that is how
you season the outside of your turkey.
