At Ascent Audiology & Hearing, what sets us apart is that we specialize in hearing treatment
and rehabilitation.
We have decades of experience testing, diagnosing,
and treating hearing disorders, as well as selecting and fitting customized hearing solutions
for our patients based on their individual needs, lifestyle and budget.
While ear, nose and throat doctors have multiple specialties,
we focus on rehabilitating your hearing
and have more experience fitting patients with hearing solutions.
We are also different from hearing aid dispensers
that you find in the mall or in big-box stores
selling inexpensive, one-size-fits-all amplification devices.
We're university trained Audiologists with Masters or Doctorate degrees,
and have years of experience fitting thousands of patients
with the right solution to fit their specific needs.
With hearing loss, there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution.
We know that each person who comes to see us
has a different type and degree of hearing loss,
and has different needs for different activities.
We'll perform a thorough hearing evaluation
using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment,
so we can provide the right solution to meet your specific needs.
We use computerized real-ear measurement to
develop a prescription, and program the hearing aid while it's in the patient's ear.
This allows us to validate and verify the performance of the hearing aid.
An innovative sound room simulates real-life environments,
which allows us to accurately program and personalize our patient's hearing solution
for the types of environments they're in most often.
We're committed to working with you to get the
best possible results, until you're completely satisfied.
Hearing devices aren't like eye glasses where you have instant results.
Hearing aids require fine-tuning and adjustments to achieve optimal results.
That's where our experience really makes a difference.
We've fitted thousands of hearing aids,
and we know what it takes to get the most from your device.
We'll teach you how to re-train your brain to listen
more efficiently and effectively, to process sound information better.
Our goal is to help you function more effectively in noisy environments
and prevent your listening skills from deteriorating.
We will also teach you how to clean and care for your hearing devices
to keep them in top working order.
And if you have any questions, help is just a phone call away!
We've seen dramatic improvements in our patients' quality of life,
and we look forward to the privilege of helping you too.
