SHANAY NORVELL: We're going to do a modified up. A modified pullup is going to give you
the strength for your upper body, but you're not going to be fully suspended. I'm going
to do it using a Smith Machine. So first, you're going to use the bar for the Smith
machine and then lift your hips off the ground and stretch your legs out. You're going to
pull your body up to the bar and then lower it. So you're using your full upper body strength,
that pull of course uses your biceps and your back, your forearm muscles are being involved.
Inhale, exhale up, inhale down. If that feels too tough, you can bend your knees. So that's
going to take some of the weight off, still rise up, or raise up. And then hold for a
little more intensity and then slowly bring it down. That's your modified pullup.
