Hi! This is C.J. South representing expertvillage.com. In this clip I will talk about the view pop
up menu. Time to talk about the view pop up. Now this view pop up right here just has different
options for how you want to view the footage in your viewer. By the way, these pop ups
here they are the same in the canvas as well. You have the same three in the canvas with
the same features. So let's examine this a bit. First is this first section, image, image
wire frame or just wire frame. This is used for a lot of times when you are compositing
and doing graphics because if you notice when I click image wire frame, I now have a wire
frame to it. I know wire frame basically just shows me the outside like the outline of my
footage or my graphic. If I am just wire frame, I can still see the outline of my graphic
but I can't see the image. Now image and wire frame when it is selected, you can move this
clip around so if you want to stick this to the side, just see how your footage looks
while you are playing a graphic here, you can do that or you can make it smaller, larger
or whatever you prefer to do. Again it is just for viewing purposes. You are not changing
anything. So now down below, you have overlays. Overlays are just little extras that kind
of help you keep track of what is going on. So let me show you here. If you click show
title save, you now have this title saved. These little boxes that pop up. What this
represents is a standard television. Okay, this inner square or rectangle here , if you
put titles outside of that box, you will not be able to see them on a standard television.
The other one is the action save. The action save is most likely anything going on outside
that box will not be seen. So keep your titles inside the center box and anything that is
important action, inside this action box.
