My name is Synes Elischka and I am the director of the International Random Film Festival
As an emerging Film Festival we are forced to deal with something that all
film festivals are currently struggling with:
rising submission numbers.
it's a byproduct of this "digital revolution"
that has been happening recently
yes there is a democratization taking place but there's also the problem
that we get soooo many films nowadays and we're busy people
we don't have time to watch all those films to see if there are any good
this is why I've decided to ask you the Internet for help
how should we select our winning films without actually watching them
here's how it goes first you get an awesome idea
second you make a video explaining
how this idea works or give us step-by-step instructions
3: you edit the video you insert the credit slate that is linked down here
upload the video to your platform of choice YouTube, Vimeo, whatever...
and you tweet us the link or send us an email
deadline is the 31st of October
after this a panel of experts will determine the best ideas
and you will get your award.
before you ask no, this is not a joke
we're in actual film festival with real participants and a real nice down to earth audience
the only difference is we are a bit random but in a good way
we select the location that the festival is taking place randomly
and then we go there and we organize the film festival from scratch
send us your ideas how we should choose from all of these films that people trust us with
and win one of these incredible awards
down in description there's a link for all the details you need
thanks for watching and good luck
shouldn't I talk faster?
because it's not cinema, you know it's Internet video
they always talk really really fast
