Hi, I'm Jane from GreenSmoothieHabit.com. Welcome. Look what we're making today. This
recipe, an entire pitcher full, 8 cups, comes from Lien. Hi Lien, how are you? You sent
me this recipe awhile back, I've been looking at it and thought, today's the day. Lien wrote,
"Hi Jane, I just wanted to share my refreshing drink wth you so that you may share this with
all the beginners out there. If this can turn my husband to green smoothies and my two year
old loves it, it has to be good." Well, I already snuck a sip, I can tell you it's good
and I'm going to show you how to make it right now. Lien says to fill your blender with five
cups of water, two large handfuls kale or spinach. I used a handful of each. One small
cucumber or half of a large one, I cut one in half. 1/4 lemon, rind and and all. One
cup apple juice or 1 apple. I had a Rome apple so I put it in there... and one cup of ice
to make it cold. The ice is optional. I so enjoy opening up my refrigerator and seeing
a day's supply of green smoothie in there. Put a straw right in the pitcher and drink
from it all day long if it's just you, or everybody can pour their own. Look at that,
