Today on the show, I will be showing you how to make vegan whole wheat pancakes
Here we go.
Vegan Pancakes Recipe
We are going to start our vegan whole wheat pancakes recipe by adding
whole wheat pastry flour to a large mixing bowl.
Then we are going to add in baking powder, raw sugar, cinnamon, a touch of ginger and a little bit of salt.
You can leave out the spices if you want to make this basic, but I wanted to make my vegan pancakes a little complex.
Give that a good whisk and then add in your wet ingredients.
Almond milk and applesauce.
A whisked it together and I needed more moisture, so I added in water.
And you want it to be thick, but pourable consistency.
Go ahead and add about 1/3 cup of batter into your frying pan
I have sprayed my frying pan with a little cooking spray to keep it non - stick
I am using a cast iron pan. As you can see, I just added a couple of blueberries on top
And it just fried up so good. You can add a little agave or maple syrup
or a little vegan butter, and these came out scrumptious.
