Hello students, welcome to today’s lesson on how to play ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina
Perri! So the song ‘A Thousand Years’ is in the
key FB flat major, which means we are going to have low twos and G, as well as low one
and D, low one and A, low one and E. Starts off with low two and G --. If you know
??? definitely to play, because it is a really good song to your ??? on. So there is three
of those and then this rhythm So that is low two to open G.
A little different rhythm here is bum-pa-pa-pam. Now here we have a triplet rhythm basically.
Make sure your ones and twos are touching a G there. Now third finger on the D. Instead
of open A, use four here and then B flat low one.
Now the chorus. Now I am going to play ‘A Thousand Years’
up to speed.
