Cucumbers, ham, and "harusame" dressed with sweet vinegar (* harusame=bean-starch vermicelli)
Ingredients 30g harusame (dried) 1 cucumber 4 slices ham 2 tbsp sugar(30ml) 2 tbsp vinegar(30ml) 2 tsp soy sauce(10ml) Sesame oil (for flavor)
Boil the 30g dried harusame for about 4 minutes.
Wash the 1 cucumber quickly, and cut into 4 equal pieces.
Then cut into julienne strips.
Put the cut cucumber in a bowl.
Boiled harusame, soak in water and cool down, drain well in a colander.
Then cut the remaining cucumber into julienne strips.
Cut the 4 slices ham into julienne strips.
When cut them, put in a bowl.
Add the drained harusame, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp vinegar, 2 tsp soy sauce, and mix well.
To finish, flavor it with small amount of sesame oil.
